VIRGIN Media star Katja Mia shares special moments she told her family she’s engaged.
The Six O’Clock Show host’s long-term love Daragh Curran, who’s better known as the Guinness Guru, proposed to her last weekend.
The got down on one knee and popped the question on their romantic Italian holiday.
Katja had to video call her family and friends to share their engagement news while they were away.
The Dublin beauty recorded their reactions as they spotted the rock on her finger and shared the clips on Instagram.
The popular presenter started the call by showing everyone her mosquito bites and said she had “one more massive bite to show on her left hand” before showing off her ring.
Katja’s dad took a “solid five seconds” to realise that she was engaged and looked happier than ever when he noticed.
The 28-year-old’s mum blew her kisses as she smiled from ear-to-ear on the call.
Katja’s sisters Andrea and Fiona both got quite emotional and burst into tears after finding out she was engaged.
The former Ireland AM star’s friends and fans all loved the heart-melting video.
RTE star Laura Fox said: “I can’t stop crying watching Andrea.”
Dancing With The Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian wrote: “This is so CUTE.”

The happy couple celebrated their seventh anniversary together earlier this year in July.
ANNIVERSARY
The pair enjoyed a night away to the stunning, Kilkea Castle Hotel in Kildare to mark the special occasion.
The luxurious five star hotel and golf resort is located in Castledermot, Kildare and boasts a sprawling estate that encompass’ over 180 acres.
During their stay, the pair enjoyed a friendly game of tennis on the hotel’s grounds.
Katja took to Instagram to pay a special tribute for her beloved boyfriend and shared memories from their seven years spent together.
In a sweet throwback snap from six years ago, the presenter who was 22, looked as happy as ever standing next to her boyfriend as they laughed in a candid moment.
A more recent picture saw the pair all smiles as they posed for a quick snap in an exotic location while enjoying dinner by the beach.
