DANIEL O’Donnell has been forced to pull out of his upcoming gig because of a serious chest infection.
The Donegal crooner shared an “urgent” post on Facebook this afternoon warning fans not to turn up for tonight’s show at the Cork Opera House.

The singer said he was really looking forward to playing the sold-out show.
He played the same venue last night and the show went down a storm.
However, a croaky-voiced Daniel told fans today: “Unfortunately I’ve had some problems with a chest infection.
“I just can’t get the voice to work tonight so we’re going to have to cancel the show.”
He added: “I’m really, really sorry for the inconvenience but I just can’t sing. Thank you very much.”
The 62-year-old wanted to let fans know that the show is cancelled before they got on the road and began their journey to the venue.
Daniel will be rescheduling the show and will let fans know as to what to do about tickets or refunds.
The Danny Boy star’s fans all flooded the comment section with love and support as they wished him a speedy recovery.
Kay wrote: “Bless you Daniel. Take care you and your voice important.”
Selma said: “Feel better soon! You have to take care of that voice! Hugs.”
Maureen commented: “Daniel I am so sorry you’re not well. I hope you take care and look after yourself. Rest and hope you will get better soon. A big hug.”
Barbara added: “Sending healing hugs and wishing a speedy recovery.”
Daniel’s wife Majella’s son Michael got married in Tuscany, Italy last month.
FAMILY CELEBRATION
Michael tied the knot with his Australian-born wife Sarah, in a stunning wedding ceremony just outside Florence.
Daniel had shared stunning pictures with the newly weds, Majella’s daughter, Siobhan, husband Gavin, and their three children, Olivia, Archie and Luke.
The 62-year-old looked dapper wearing a light blue suit with a blue and white floral shirt and black shoes.
Daniel appeared on Ireland AM recently and spoke about the special day.
The singer said: “We had a great time. Michael, our son, lives in Melbourne with his wife now.
“They wanted to get married in Europe – her people are all Greek. So they decided on Italy.”
Daniel revealed that wedding party partook in the Greek custom of plate smashing, which confused his grandson Archie.
