JERMAINE Jenas is fighting to save his marriage after sexting with colleagues and being sacked by the BBC, his dad has revealed.
His father has now revealed the former One Show co-host and ex-Match of the Day pundit is desperate to save his marriage to wife Ellie.
Dennis Jenas said his son was battling to save his marriage and the scandal had hit the family hard.
He told The Mirror: “He knows he shouldn’t have done what he did and he wants to keep his family together and he knows he has hurt his wife and kids.
“I called JJ as soon as I saw what had happened. He’s my little man, my trouper, my main guy.
“He did not think he had been treated well by the BBC. I tried to give him a boost and the support he needed. He was in a state and needed it at the time.”
The Sun exclusively revealed last week how the 41-year-old had been booted from the BBC after women complained about his workplace conduct.
Emotional Jenas is now trying to claw back their relationship after telling his wife he had been dismissed for sending inappropriate messages to two female colleagues.
Ellie has kicked him out of their bedroom the couple shared at their £1million home in Hertfordshire.
He told The Sun in an exclusive interview: “We’ve not really spoken properly since. She’s absolutely raging.”
He confessed to lying to wife Ellie during a family holiday and sneaking off to take a Zoom call with BBC bosses over his X-rated messages.
Tearfully, he admitted he did not know if Ellie would forgive him.
Praising her as an “amazing mother”, he said she was solely focused on the care of their two daughters and young son.
“My wife is solid and she’s amazing. She is kind. She just needs some time.”
Jenas went on to praise Ellie for standing by him during his football career, where he previously said he was “single-minded and selfish to succeed”.
Last year, Jenas and Ellie clashed as he started spending more time socialising with his One Show work colleagues.
The presenter said: “It was all glitzy, but for my wife, it was like nappies, milk.
“I am a very hands-on dad and I’m always trying to help but, still, she wasn’t getting that fulfilment in her own life.”
But, only back in May, the presenter was fawning over brunette beauty Ellie Penfold, who he tied the knot with in 2011.
Sharing a photo dump of holiday snaps with their children, he wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday Mrs j I love you… we love you more than you could ever imagine.. you deserve the world x.”
In the snaps, Ellie was seen in various bikinis on luxury boats and restaurant during a trip abroad.
The couple share three children together, two daughters Geneva and Olivia and a son called Jacob, while Jenas has an older daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship who lives in the United States with her mother.
It is understood Jenas has instructed lawyers and is devastated by the turn of events — not least the loss of his £190,000- £194,999 annual salary for his work on the FA Cup, Match Of The Day and the World Cup.
