SAOIRSE Ronan’s husband Jack Lowden has opened up about the pair’s secret wedding and life with his new wife.
The couple fell in love after both starring in 2018’s Mary Queen of Scots.

The pair, who have become known for keeping out of the public eye, tied the knot in a top-secret Scottish ceremony.
They made their nuptials in a low-key wedding in the Central Register Office in Edinburgh on the weekend of July 20.
And only a handful of the couple’s closest friends were in attendance.
Guests who attended were apparently sworn to secrecy in order to avoid publicity.
The pair first met while filming Mary Queen of Scots and are currently in the process of producing their first film together.
The film, entitled The Outrun, also stars Saoirse and is directed by Nora Fingscheidt.
Speaking to The Guardian for the first time about producing with his wife, Jack said: “I read The Outrun in lockdown and just turned to Sersh and said, ‘You’ve got to play this part.’
“We were both producers, as well as Sersh being in it. It was the most amazing experience – in particular, to watch her in that role.
He added: “We would love to produce more stuff, but we’re taking a beat at the moment because acting is getting in the way.”
Referring to his new wife he gushed: “She’s utterly phenomenal. But then the madness of making an independent film is just… great fun and terrifying.”
He added: “We’re quite odd people, actors. We’re strange animals. So it just makes complete sense, and I understand why there are loads of other actors with actors.
Saoirse’s last film to hit the big screen was sci-fi thriller Foe, which she stared in alongside Irish A-lister Paul Mescal.
The film was centred around a young married couple with Mescal as Junior and Little Women star Saoirse as Hen who live a solitary life on their farm in the near future where environmental decay is destroying the planet.
One night they are informed by a stranger named Terrance that Junior has been selected to travel to a large, experimental space station orbiting Earth.
However, Hen won’t have a chance to miss him as arrangements have been made to ensure she will never be left alone.
And this familiar company will push her to make a life-changing decision.
The film nabbed Saoirse an IFTA nomination for Best Lead Actress.
