AIDAN O’SHEA and Kristin McKenzie Vass tied the knot in style – after arriving to their wedding via helicopter.
Mayo GAA’s record appearance maker was decked out in a two piece black tuxedo along with a white shirt and a black dickie bow for good measure.

Kristin meanwhile looked radiant in a floor length dress that featured a beautiful bow detail on its back.
Their nuptials took place in the fancy Muckross Park Hotel in Killarney.
Not only is Kristin a Kerry woman but Aidan’s parents also hail from The Kingdom.
Among the set of glamorous photos they’ve so far shared, our favourite is of the drinks menu.
There was a heavy GAA influence on the names of the signature drinks on offer.
We particularly enjoyed the self-deprecating nod at Mayo’s continued inability to land Sam Maguire.
One concoction was labelled ‘To Gin Just Once’ in an homage to The Saw Doctors’ ballad ‘To Win Just Once’ which was written about Mayo’s long, long wait for a first men’s All-Ireland since 1951.
Aidan and Kristin have been an item since 2017 – having met on a night out in Dublin.
They made things work despite her moving to London soon after to take up a nursing post there.
She returned to Dublin to enrol in a further college qualification and now works as a business consultant manager with Grant Thornton.
They’ve been living together in Mayo for several years now.
There, Aidan balances his playing commitments with his day job as a Planning, Distribution & Exports Manager for Pharmaceutical company AbbVie.
Their wedding comes after they got engaged in July 2023.
On that occasion Mayo was the setting as they beamed from the picturesque setting of Ashford Castle.

In the build-up to Friday’s affair Aidan spoke to Evoke about how well Kristin gets on with his daughter Caragh.
The two-time All-Star and NFL winner also shared how active a role Caragh has played in helping them with preparations.
He smiled: “The two of them are busy planning and looking at wedding dresses and stuff like that.
“They are keeping it all secret from me.”
