A BRIDE has tragically plunged to her death from a 15th floor window on her wedding night.
Ksenia Vodyanitskaya, 23, tumbled down from her apartment in a high-rise residential tower which she shared with her new husband in St Petersburg, Russia.
The shocking accident took place just a few hours after she posted some happy wedding pictures along with groom Kirill, 24.
The couple had returned home after a party at a restaurant in the city when the tragedy unfolded.
A “distressed” Kirill called the emergency services and rushed down to find his wife’s body.
While he was seen being questioned by Russian cops, he denied any role in his new wife’s fall, it is understood.
Cops for now have ruled the tragic incident as an accident, although an investigation remains underway.
Ksenia had recently graduated from St Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine.
She was deeply interested in photography – and had started to post pictures of the wedding just before she died.
The wedding ceremony was attended by close friends and a few relatives.
She wore a short white dress while the bridegroom was in a white shirt and beige trousers.
Speaking about the couple’s relationship, a Russian newspaper wrote: “Friends said the couple had been happy at their wedding.
“Testimony from friends and relatives indicate that there were no serious problems in the couple’s relationship.
“The young man sincerely loved his bride, and simply could not harm her, the friends of the deceased are certain.”
Meanwhile, heartbreaking tributes have poured for the young girl who died after falling from a hotel balcony in Mallorca.
Clodagh Phelan, 11, from Co Wicklow, died after she fell from the seventh floor of a hotel in Mallorca while holidaying with her family.
It is understood that her family were sleeping at the time when she went out on the terrace and fell to her death.
It comes after a social media influencer plunged to her death after slipping from the top of a waterfall while filming social media content.
