THE mum of a jailed Just Stop Oil protester sparked fury after complaining her daughter would now miss a family wedding.
Cambridge student Cressida Gethin, 22, got a four-year term last week for plotting a mass blockage of the M25.

Her mum Cathy, from Herefordshire, moaned: “This means she will not be present at her brother’s wedding next summer.”
She also described her daughter as a “talented musician” who “worked hard and achieved highly”.
Around 700,000 vehicles were halted on the key orbital in 2022 as protesters climbed onto gantries.
Gethin was one of five jailed for conspiracy to cause a public nuisance.
Her mother Cathy complained: “Cressida tried polite routes to protest and to persuade to affect change.
“But when she heard the science and saw that no one was paying attention, she felt she had no option.”
But Shadow Business Secretary Kevin Hollinrake said: “If you can’t serve the time, don’t do the crime.
“There needs to be this kind of deterrent.”
Hundreds have signed a letter calling it an “injustice”.
