RTE star Doireann Garrihy looked happier than ever as she jetted off on the “trip of a lifetime” with her fiance Mark Mehigan.
The Dancing With The Stars host and her partner Mark Mehigan got engaged last November and are planning to tie the knot at the end of this year.
Doireann headed off on her six week travel adventure with Mark today.
The 32-year-old shared her excitement earlier this month as she spoke about their travel plans.
She said: “Mark and I are going away for six weeks, well we’ve booked our flights out, we haven’t booked a return flight yet.
“We could be gone for five weeks, five and a half, could be six or even six and a half weeks. Who knows?
“We will be starting in France and it’s going to be a little euro trip, it’s one of those things that it actually took me ages to go, ‘Ok fine, we’ll do it’.
“And now that we are doing it, I’m like can we just go now?”
Mark took to his Instagram today to share a sweet snap of the pair before they jetted off.
The happy couple posed for a picture outside Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 after Doireann’s sister Ailbhe dropped them off.
They looked happy as ever in their travel outfits as they beamed beside their two large yellow suitcases.
The former 2FM star looked stunning in a pair of blue jeans, a yellow tee and brown sandals.
Meanwhile, Mark was sporting a denim jacket, grey tee and a pair of black jeans.
He captioned his post: “The day has come. Feeling extremely grateful to be heading away on the trip of a lifetime with @doireanngarrihy we can roast the suitcases later.”
The pair’s friends and fans all raced to the comment section to wish them well.
Irish model Rosanna Davison said: “Have the best time!”
Doireann’s sister Aoibhin Garrihy commented: “Happy hols guys. Have a ball x.”
RTE‘s Carl Mullan joked: “I’m gonna need details on the suitcases – have a savage time.”

Dancing With The Star’s judge Loraine Barry added: “The adventure begins… You’ll have the best time. Every day will bring new experiences.”
Marie wrote: “Enjoy every minute.”
Earlier this month, Doireann shared her nerves as she spoke about the holiday on her podcast.
She said: “I’ve been nervous about it, because I’ve just never done that length of a stint away before.
“There’s of course these kind of feelings like ‘At this age and stage of my life, is this the right thing to do?’
“But I just think I’ve really reached the point now where there’s no time like the present.”
She added: “I just want to be able to go and really throw ourselves into it without worrying about anything back home. We’re going in two weeks time and I couldn’t be more excited.”
