A BRIDE is getting called out for her bad behavior as she tried to make some bank.

Strangers were not fans of what they thought was a less-than-classy way to ask for funds.

DRIVE-BY DEMAND

Redditor Squareextra918 shared a post with a photo of a car with a message written in big letters on the back.

“She’s tying the knot, buy the bride a shot,” it read.

They didn’t shy away from sharing their opinion on what they had witnessed, as they mocked the bride.

“Hello, kind stranger. Please contribute to my cash app!” they said.

“I definitely did not get angry, just thought it was tacky as all, get out,” they continued.

They were certainly not impressed with this drive-by demand.

“I’ve never seen it before on a car just driving about town,” they said.

“I have seen people wearing signs and stuff – before Venmo, etc. – similar to this when they were actually doing their bachelorette party when I lived in Savannah.

“I thought that was fun and I have bought a couple of people drinks.

“It makes you feel like you’re sharing some of that joy, telling them good luck, etc.

“Putting it on your car and driving around just feels tacky. Do it in the moment.”

FAST CASH

One Redditor had a question about this unusual way of asking for cash,

“I’m so curious if this actually works? Do random strangers donate money to these things?” they asked.

“Yes – I was just at a [bachelorette party] the other weekend and she made almost $700 from doing this and having all the girls post it on Instagram,” another user replied.

“It covered all our meals and drinks for the whole trip lol. I used to be one to judge but it works.”

Another used shared their own “tacky” experience.

“I got invited to a bachelorette party to spread out the cost of the limo, etc., over more people,” they said.

“I was not invited to the wedding – and already knew that. Needless to say, it was not difficult to pass up the opportunity.”

“Jeez! Some people really lose all sense when they’re planning a wedding,” the Redditor who posted the car image replied.

One user did share what car-written request she was willing to shell out the dough for.

“I’ve seen a divorced one that I definitely donated to!” they said.
