LAST week’s Married At First Sight: UK reunion episode was watched by over 1.8m viewers – which has convinced Channel 4 to snap up a new reunion special for the next series.
The drama-filled episode saw contestants from the recent 2024 series return, along with a few familiar faces from the 2023 instalment, for one of the show’s notorious dinner parties.

And the former newlyweds did not disappoint, in terms of angry outbursts, especially Lacey Martin who stormed out after a row with ex-husband Nathan Campbell.
Commissioner for MAFSUK and MAFS: The Reunion, Lee McMurray said, “After the latest Married At First Sight Reunion show achieved record ratings we’re delighted to be recommissioning this stand-alone ep for 2026.
“I was thrilled by the success of this latest instalment.
“And I’m just as excited about the upcoming full series of MAFS UK, which will air later in the year.”
The one-off episode saw former groom Matt Pilmoor propose to girlfriend Shona Manderson, who was a bride on the same series – but left the show after her husband Brad Skelly was axed – which reduced fellow diners to (happy) tears.
February’s special also saw an unlikely friendship forged between warring brides Hannah Norburn and Holly Ditchfield who spent the entirety of series four at each other’s throats
Plus, there wouldn’t be a MAFS episode without a secret fling, and that came courtesy of Erica Roberts and Kieran Chapman who revealed all to a stunned cast.
But their news didn’t go well with everybody, namely his ex-wife Kristina Goodsell.
The news of a new reunion episode comes in the same week that MAFS Australia started on Channel 4, which will help all those MAFS UK addicts going cold turkey through the spring.
