MARRIED At First Sight Australia has viewers on the edge of their seats as the drama-filled series returns.
The relationship experts are back for what has already been branded the “wildest in the world” with the 2025 series of MAFS Australia featuring cheating scandals, a wife swap and a groom who ditched his bride because she was “too old”.
What is MAFS Australia about?
MAFS is a reality TV show where contestants hoping to find love are matched by three relationship experts.
The love-matches, as the name suggests, do not meet until their wedding day.
Week-by-week, the couples experience marital life while receiving advice from the experts every step of the way so long as they chose as a couple to remain in the experiment until their final wedding vow ceremony.
Viewers have seen varied levels of success for the couples in previous seasons of MAFS, but the drama is always guaranteed and this series 2025 promises just that and more.

Married at First Sight Australia starts Monday March 3, 2025 at 9pm on E4.
Viewers can also stream on Channel 4.
Previous seasons will be available to stream on Channel 4’s On Demand service and on Apple TV+.
Who are the MAFS Australia experts?
Mel Schilling, Alessandra Rampolla and John Aiken return to guide the new couples through a the ups and downs of marriage during their time on the experiment.
Many viewers will recognise Mel as she also appears on the UK version of the series.
John has over 25 years and appears alongside Alessandra, a certified clinical sexologist with over 20 years of experience.
Speaking of the new series, Mel said: “One of the great challenges for our couples is to let go of old behaviour patterns.
“When they enter the experiment, they have often been single for a long time and there are always underlying reasons for this.
“Our couples need to unlearn old habits, trust the process and take risks in order to learn new ways to not only communicate but also flourish in relationships.”

Brides
Ashleigh Ackerman
Ashleigh owns a family-run dance school with her mum and sister.
She is described as “fun, energetic and loveable.”
This bride has admitted that she’s a long-time fan of the show.
In the trailer Ashleigh says she’s looking for a relationship like previous MAFS contestants Jules and Cam.
Jacqueline Burfoot
Jacqueline is a lawyer from New Zealand.
She describes herself as having both “beauty and brains” and wants to find someone worthy of her love.
She is the former title holder of Miss New Zealand in 2012 and is a certified yoga instructor.
Veronica Cloherty
Veronica, is a former Miss Universe contestant and actress.
She is reportedly coming in as an intruder bride for Eliot Donovan.
Viewers are in for a treat as the production team have already reportedly labelled Veronica a “high-maintenance diva”.
Rhi Disljenkovic
Rhi is an IT account manager, but has been making waves as a fitness blogger and influencer on Instagram.
She admits that she’s “tired of the modern dating scene” and that despite having been in a seven year relationship previously, she’s “never been in love”.
In a turn of events, Rhi has been paired with her ex-boyfriend Jeff Gobbels.
Morena Farina
Morena is a wedding MC and DJ.
She’s a mother of two and one of the eldest cast members looking for love.
Although Morena’s first love is music she’s looking for a partner who will pamper her and put her first.
Lauren Hall
Lauren is the owner of a corporate gifting business, Mayfair Lane Gifts.
Lauren says she’s perfect wife material and that being a ‘trad wife’ wouldn’t bother her, in fact it would bring her nothing but pleasure to ensure her husband is taken care of.
This MAFS bride was first paired with Eliot on season 12, but after his abrupt departure, Lauren returned as an intruder with Clint.

Katie runs a charity called EATS HQ.
Despite her caring nature,Katie admits to being unlucky in love.

Beth Kelly
Beth is an operations manager at a hair salon.
Originally from the UK and her friends have described Beth as funny, outgoing, charismatic and down-to-earth.
She’s been enlisted as an intruder bride and paired with Teejay.
Jamie Marinos
Jamie is an account manager at a digital marketing firm.
Before MAFS began her TikTok account was blowing up with views after she shared multiple reels that celebrate independence and female empowerment.
Jamie is set to rock the boat early on after she confesses to having slept with one of the other grooms in front of his new bride.
Jamie has described her ideal partner in detail. She said: “I want a husband who is a cross between David Beckham and someone who’s done 20 to life.”
Carina Mirabile
Carina is a digital marketing specialist with aspirations to be an actress.

This is not her first TV appearance and viewers might remember her as a former contestant of The Bachelor in 2021.

He previously appeared on The Real Love Boat back in 2022.
