IRISH celebrities have rounded up their 2024 with some incredible highlights on social media – from “personal struggles” to “joyful moments”.
Doireann Garrihy and her husband Mark Mehigan certainly had a year to remember as they exchanged vows in a lavish star-studded ceremony on Friday, November 29.


The lovebirds also enjoyed the “adventure of a lifetime” when they travelled around Europe for six weeks before tying the knot.
The Dancing With The Stars host took to Instagram today to share a brilliant montage of clips taken throughout the course of their exciting year.
Doireann wrote in her caption: “So extremely grateful for the year that was.”
The 32-year-old even posted a handful of exclusive snippets from their big day – including an emotional shot of Doireann and her dad Eugene embracing after he made his speech.


Meanwhile, Irish model, Rosanna Davison, marked a fantastic year with a short video of herself posing outside her apartment in Morocco.
The mum-of-three and her husband Wes Quirke opted to spend the New Year in style as they jetted off to the stunning North African country.
With her twins Hugo and Oscar both starting school and finally securing keys to her dream home – the Dublinstar has had an unforgettable year.
The Irish beauty wrote in her caption: “Grateful for the health and happiness that this year has brought for the people I love, for the many joyful moments and memories, and the challenges that have (hopefully!) helped me to learn and grow.
“And mostly just delighted to be here to welcome in another year, doing my best to live a life I can be proud of and to make others happy.”
Former The Saturdays star, Una Healy, joined the list of celebs celebrating 2024 with a sweet Instagram post.
The Tipperary native looked gorgeous as she posed in a statement gold dress with a low-plunging neckline.
The 43-year-old penned: “Here’s to 2025! Reflecting on the highs and lows of the past year, I’m so grateful for the moments, the lessons, and the people who made it all special.
“Here’s wishing you all a year filled with growth, joy, and a few unexpected adventures along the way. Let’s make this one a good one.”

The Six O’Clock Show star, Katja Mia, summarised her 2024 as “magical” in an emotional statement.
The popular presenter enjoyed an memorable year with her appearance as a contestant on DWTS and becoming a mainstay host on Virgin Media.
The 28-year-old also got engaged to her long-term partner Daragh Curan during their romantic getaway to Italy.
Katja shared a selection of gorgeous pictures to sign off on brilliant year – and even added a behind the scenes clip of herself rehearsing for DWTS with her partner Ervinas Merfeldas.
She wrote in her caption: “The last dump of 2024. OF COURSE… these are only all my highlights, the year was filled with personal pain and struggles like everyone else but if I was to summarise 2024 in one word it would be…magic.
“Thank you to everyone for the continued love and every single individual that contributed to those “magic” moments of the year, you know who you are.”


And it was a year full of proposals for the stars as RTE 2FM host Laura Fox’s partner, Brian Moran popped the question.
She added in her caption: “This year! Getting engaged to B Balls, Final of DWTS, my own 5 day radio show, Fitfam and Thor’s first job.”
The Ireland‘s Fittest Family host posted a series of highlights from her year on Instagram and gushed over her followers “continuous support”.
Laura, who also appeared in last years series of DWTS, made it to the final three.
The Galway girl shared some amazing clips of her time on the show and the fun they got up to in rehearsals.
