IRELAND AM star Eric Roberts has welcomed his first child into the world.
The Donegal native, who often appears on the hit morning show, shared the exciting news with his fans on social media.
Eric and his wife Niamh Roberts got married back in August 2023 in a church wedding surrounded by friends and family.
In July, the social media star announced he was expecting his first child with his wife.
And today, the happy pair welcomed their bundle of joy into the world.
The TV star took to his Instagram to share the incredible news with his fans and friends.
The Virgin Media star posted an adorable Instagram reel of his new baby boy.
The TikTok star gushed over his new arrival as he said: “Our baby boy was born at 9:06AM 1/1/25…mother and son doing amazing.”
Eric and Niamh’s friends and fans all flocked to the comment section with congratulations for the pair.
One person wrote: “Huge congratulations to you both. Parents of little boys are busy from “son up” to “son down” …. enjoy every precious moment.
“Well done Niamh for holding off till Jan 1st for the GAA.”
Another said: “Aww, congratulations to you all , what a great way to start the year.”

In November, Eric celebrated his wife’s baby shower in style, just before taking on a gruelling challenge.
Niamh celebrated her baby shower with her nearest and dearest.
Eric hilariously took to Instagram before the celebrations to share his worries over attending the event.
In a short video, the TikTok sensation asked: “Guys, do men go to baby showers? I have no idea.
“My wife’s baby shower is on and she asked me this morning if I was going and I said, ‘Oh, I don’t think so, I didn’t think I would be, do you want me to go?’
“And she goes, ‘It’s up to you’. Now, I know what, ‘It’s up to you’ means, it means you better be there so.
“Anyways I got her flowers and I’m going to arrive in now after the meal.”
The dad-to-be then shared an adorable clip of himself surprising Niamh with flowers while she was sat with her friends in a restaurant.
Eric also captured a gorgeous picture of himself and Niamh all dolled up, posing at the celebrations.
But that wasn’t the only exciting part of Eric’s weekend as he geared up to take on a major marathon run for charity.
The 32-year-old ran an impressive 42km in a bid to raise money for the Focus Ireland charity.
