SHANE and Wendy Lowry reunited with childhood friends during their wedding in Carlow.
The Offaly golfer and his wife were guests at Ballykealey House in Carlow, where their mates Jill and Graham were tying the knot.
Wendy shared a precious pic of the quartet to her Instagram Story, revealing that the four have been friends “since we were 4 years old”.
For the wedding, Wendy wowed in a red dress from Jacquemus, while his Offaly golf star husband wore a stylish black suit.
It was the perfect way to cap off what was Shane Lowry‘s most successful year on the PGA Tour.
The Irishman finished 9th on the FedEx Cup ladder.
The 2019 Open champion netted €8.73 million between both the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.
He went on to have 7 top 10s on the PGA Tour, and equalled all-time major low-round at the USPGA Championship at Valhalla.
The Clara ace also secured a win alongside Rory McIlroy at the Zurich Classic in April – the only team tournament on the tour’s rota.
He only missed the cut on twice on the American based tour during the 2024 season.
The 37-year-old was in contention for three of the four major heading into the final round this season.
The world number 28 had two third-placed finishes and finished between fourth and 10th on five occasions, underlining his remarkable consistency.
He also represented Ireland in the 2024 Olympic Games prior to being flag bearer for his country in the French capital.
Now as he sets his sights on the 2025 campaign, Clara ace Lowry took to social media.
He posted a montage of pics from his most memorable moments of the 2024 calendar year.
Lowry penned on Instagram: “2024 was a good one…bring on 2025.:”
The first event of the PGA Tour season gets underway next week in Hawaii with a massive purse on the line.
The Sentry is a Signature event and will have $20m up for grabs at Kapalua Plantation.
2025 also will see The Open return to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, the scene of Lowry’s only career major win to date.
And Bathpage Balck in New York will host the Ryder Cup that Lowry hopes to be a part of next September.
