RTE star Doireann Garrihy has said she “can’t wait” as she revealed her “exciting” hen party plans.
The Dancing With The Stars host and her partner Mark Mehigan got engaged last November.

Doireann first went public with the Sunday Roast host back in 2022.
And although the Irish star has been keeping tight-lipped about the big day, she did give fans a glimpse into her hen party plans.
The presenter’s sister Ailbhe recently joined her on her podcast – Doireann and Friends.
The 32-year-old asked her sister: “What are the plans for my hen that you can fill me in on?
“I’m not in the Whatsapp group you set up a couple of months ago.”
Doireann was happy to hear that they will be going abroad, as she said: “Un-f***ing believable.”
Ailbhe then went on to say: “Twelve of you nearest and dearest, they’re all in, they were straight back saying ‘we’re in’.”
And the radio star was quick to respond: “Icons.”
Her older sister added: “The craic will be 90.”
Doireann shared her excitement for the airport as she said: “I can’t even fathom what it’s going to be like in the airport, I’m going to be levitating with excitement – I can’t wait.”
Ailbhe then reflected on her own hen as she described it as the “best weekend of her life – in terms of girl craic”.
She said: “Can you remember me for my hen, I’ve never been happier in all my life and I was a ball of emotion leaving it.
“Firstly because i was dying hungover and secondly because I couldn’t get over how unreal it was.”
Doireann said she “loved everyone there” and Ailbhe added: “And it’s the same for you, it’s not a big crowd it is genuinely your closest nearest and dearest.”
Digging into the details of Doireann’s hen, Ailbhe explained: “I mean you love the glam life but myself and Aoibhinn were like ‘you do so much of that with your job, keep it simple’.
‘NOT LONG NOW’
“You host Dancing With The Stars, it doesn’t get more glam than that so I think we’re gonna pair it back in terms of the activities.
“Obviously we’re going to be getting glam for dinner and stuff but no I think we decided ‘we’re gonna surprise her’.”
Doireann responded: “I love that as well because it’s like when you’d go on a night out with your friends back in the day, the best part is always the pre-drinks when you’re sitting around chatting.
“Once you get into the taxi and go into town nothing is ever the same again.”
Ailbhe explained: “We’ll be doing loads of bits in the accommodation because that’s where the craic lies.”
She then revealed that the hen will be happening in the coming weeks as she said: “Not long now.”
