Ex-RTE DWTS pro Ryan McShane is engaged to his fiancée after his shock split with his ex-girlfriend Thalia Heffernan.
The Northern Irish star has popped the question to his girlfriend Sylwia Matuszewska, who he has been dating since 2023.
The love birds are also expecting their first child together and recently found out they’re having a baby boy.
Ryan announced his engagement last Sunday over on Instagram.
The professional dancer posted a sweet black-and-white video of himself and Sylwia putting their hands on her baby bump.
In the clip, Sylwia showed off her stunning diamond engagement ring.
Ryan gushed over his fiancée saying: “If soulmates do exist, they’re not found. They’re made with love.”
Sylwia replied: “My forever love. Love you so much.”
The couple’s friends and fans raced to the comment section with support.
RTE star Lottie Ryan wrote: “Congratulations guys!!!!”
DWTS pro Kylee Vincent said: “Omg Congrats you two! How exciting!”
Ian commented: “Congratulations. So happy for the both of you!!!!!”
The announcement comes after Ryan and Irish model Thalia Heffernan confirmed their split last year.
Ryan and Thalia confirmed they had called time on their romance back in January 2023.
Dublin beauty Thalia started dating Ryan during the first series of DWTS back in 2017.
Thalia confirmed their romance in February of that year.
BAD ROMANCE
The couple set up home in Ireland in August 2019 with their two beloved dogs – lurchers Leonard and Charlie.
Stunner Thalia then made the move to the US to follow new career opportunities in September 2022, with the couple going long distance.
But Ryan confirmed their split after Thalia discussed life in New York and their relationship in a July 2023 interview.
And he thanked his family and friends for their support.
He said: “In response to this article, I wish to set the record straight.
“Thalia ended the relationship with me and the dogs in January and returned to New York.
“Just want to thank my friends and family for all the support given to me and the boys.”
