CELEBRITY sex secrets are usually kept behind closed doors but some stars are quite happy to spill on one taboo subject – their “number”.
This week, TV presenter and former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler revealed how many people she has slept with.
Speaking about her love life on Anna Richardson’s It Can’t Just Be Me podcast, she said: “I’ve been in love a few times but I loved being single and just having casual sex with people.
“I probably did ghost a few guys at the time.”
“I don’t know how many people I’ve slept with but I know it’s over 50. My twin sister, though, has only slept with like seven.”
The star, 44, who is now married to Martin Bojtos and has a three-year-old daughter with him, also shared that she never felt pressured to marry or start a family.

Gene Simmons – 4,800
KISS legend Gene Simmons was a hellraiser in his heyday so it comes as no surprise that he was involved in many controversial moments.
But nobody expected the 75-year-old’s mind-blowing sex confession in 2016.
In an interview with The Sun, he said: “I didn’t do drugs in the crazy times but I did do sex. Did I sleep with 4,800 women? So they tell me.
Gene, known by his on-stage persona, The Demon, also admitted that he kept a stash of sex snaps to show for his escapades but was forced to burn them when he married his wife, Playboy model Shannon Tweed.
“I did have the Polaroids to prove it, oh yes”, he confessed. “But most of them were burned. Shannon and I got together with them and we had a ritual.”
In a previous interview, Gene said that women were his weakness and described how he went “from famine to feast.”
He described how he “could wake up next to somebody whose name you never bothered to learn”.
Mick Jagger – 4,000
Since 2014, Mick Jagger, known for his rock and roll lifestyle, has settled down with his partner, Melanie Hamrick, 37.
But before the Rolling Stones frontman, 81, met Melanie, he had his fair share of wild nights, according to Christopher Anderson, the author of his 2012 biography.
“By one estimate, Mick Jagger has slept with 4,000 women over the course of his life. In retrospect, I think that may be kind of a low figure”, Christopher claimed.
It was also claimed in a 2014 book that fellow musician David Bowie, who was close friends with Mick, often invited him to orgies.
Mick has been married once – to model Bianca Jagger – and also had a 22 year relationship with Jerry Hall, mum to four of his eight children, which ended in 1999.
Lamar Odom – 2000
Lamar Odom has been candid about his struggles with addiction, including drugs and porn.
The former basketball player, 45, was famously married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016.
But in his autobiography, he made a stunning confession about his sex life.
He revealed that he had slept with over 2,000 women and said many of them were one-night stands. He also admitted that several women in that tally were strippers.
He shockingly wrote: “I’ve had sex with more than two thousand women…Most of my sex had been unprotected and I’ve paid for plenty of abortions over the years. I’m not proud of it.
“It’s the law and legal but I don’t feel proud about it at all. I am a sex addict.”
He added: “I have been obsessed with sex for as long as I can remember. Sex was a trigger for me to do drugs… you double up on [that] good feeling.”
Lamar sought treatment for his addictions after having a near-death experience in 2015 when he overdosed in Las Vegas. He is now sober.
Bill Roache – 1,000
Bill Roache will forever go down as a legend when it comes to soaps. He has played Ken Barlow on Coronation Street for 64 years and is the longest-serving cast member in a soap opera.
But while Ken has been known to have an eye for the ladies, Bill’s personal life goes above and beyond the cobbles lothario’s wildest dreams.
On an episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2012, he sensationally admitted that he had bedded up to 1,000 women.
Apparently, his sex drive was so high that even his Corrie castmates started calling him “C**k Roache”.
Recalling the infamous episode in his book, Bill, now 92, wrote: “When Piers continued to press me for numbers and asked if it was 1,000 women, all I said was, ‘It could be. I don’t know.’
“Well, it went viral – ‘Bill Roache slept with 1,000 women’. And I’d never said I had but I took it with good humour.”
Bill was married two times and has five children. His marriage to his first wife, actress Anna Cropper, ended after he was unfaithful on several occasions.
One of his affairs was with former Corrie co-star Pat Phoenix, who played Elsie Tanner.
Explaining how their fling happened, Bill told Piers: “She invited me round to her flat and we had a few drinks, then one thing led to another.
“At that time, she had a reputation and I had a reputation and she felt we should meet, as it were. It just happened.”
Andrew Davis – 350
Getting to know that your new spouse has slept with 350 people is probably not the best way to start your married life.
But in a 2022 episode of Married At First Sight Australia, that’s exactly what Holly Greenstein had to contend with when her husband, Andrew Davis, made the admission.
In the toe-curling conversation, he told Holly that he wanted to come clean about his past sexual encounters.
“‘Holly, I love sex”, he admitted. I love exploring sex and I love celebrating sex. I’m a very sexual person and I have had roughly 350 sexual partners in the past.
A shocked Holly then asked the very valid question of how he was able to work out that number.
Andrew then put his maths skills to use and replied: “Well, I’ve been single for seven years of my life and there’s 52 weeks in a year. Sexual partner every year for seven years.
“That gives you about 350, seven by five. That’s how I roughly came to that number.”
Needless to say, their marriage did not go the distance.
Tom Jones – 250 (a year)
After famously singing about sexbombs and women thinking he’s sexy, is it really surprising that Sir Tom Jones had a way with women?
The 84-year-old pop crooner – whose fans famously threw their knickers on stage at gigs – is said to have bedded up to 250 women a year at the height of his stardom.
Many of his sexual encounters happened while he was married to his wife, Melinda Rose Woodward, who died of cancer in 2016 at 75. The pair met when he was eight and began dating as teenagers, and Tom has called her the love of his life on numerous occasions.
When asked about his sexual exploits on Radio 4, the Welsh icon said: “I did feel like that. Sex Bomb, you can’t get away from that title.
“When you do things, sometimes you create a monster without actually realising. Sometimes it’s over-indulgent.
“Sometimes, I should rein myself in a little bit. I’ve always tried to, but sometimes things get the better of you and I’m a little weak-minded in certain areas. It’s not an area of my life that I’m proud of.”
Jennifer Coolidge – 200
In the American Pie movies, Jennifer Coolidge played the role of Stifler’s hot mum between 1999 and 2001 and was the original MILF [mother I’d like to f***].
But as well as bringing her fame and acting opportunities, Jennifer has admitted the part also allowed her to bed a lot of people.
In an interview with Variety, the Desperate Housewives star, 63, admitted: “I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie.
“There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
Jennifer’s American Pie character famously embarrassed her son with her sexual prowess and even went on to sleep with his classmate Paul Finch.
Adam Collard – 200
When it comes to Love Island lotharios, very few come close to Adam Collard, who has had two stints on the ITV dating show.
During his 2018 stay in the villa, the then 22-year-old shocked viewers when he admitted that he had slept with 200 women.
The revelation was made in a game where Islanders had to guess which fact belonged to a particular cast member.
His admission prompted viewers to reach for their calculators with one writing on X: “Adam has slept with 200 girls & say he started 6 years ago when he was 16.
“That’s equals to 72 months divide that by 200 girls that means Adam has slept with on average 2.7 girls a month for the past 6 years.”
Thankfully, Adam is now off the market – after getting engaged to sports presenter Laura Woods in September. The pair are expecting their first baby.
Jack Fincham – 80
It’s safe to say that 2018’s Love Island lot were a different breed.
Jack Fincham, 32, who won the show with Dani Dyer, admitted that he had slept with 80 women.
In an interview with The Sun, he said: “I don’t keep count of how many people I’ve slept with but I would say around 80, give or take. I reckon that is pretty low.”
Before getting close to Dani on the show, he also confessed that he wanted to get X-rated on TV.
“I would have sex on the show – it won’t feel like anyone’s watching you, will it?” he asked.
Jack also said before flying off to the villa, his mother and grandmother warned him not to do anything sexual that would embarrass them.
Lindsay Lohan – 36
In 2014, Hollywood was rocked when In Touch Weekly published a list allegedly revealing the people Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan, 38, had slept with.
While 18 names were initially revealed, a further 18 were blurred out.
Most of the names on the list were big stars – including Justin Timberlake, actor Evan Peters and Fifty Shades star Jamie Dornan.
Other notable appearances were Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, James Franco and The Wanted’s Max George, who admitted that he had a brief fling with the star.
Amy Schumer – 28
Amy Schumer is no stranger to controversy. In 2016, fans claimed she shared too much information after revealing her body count.
In her autobiography, The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, the comedian wrote: “To date, I’ve slept with 28 people.
“I can’t remember all of their names but I remember the nicknames I gave them (Third Ball, Pit Bull Guy, Cousin Steve—JKJKJKJK).”
Amy has not shied away from the topic of sex throughout her career. She regularly incorporates the topic into her stand-up routines.
Celebs that waited until marriage to have sex
Celebrities tend to keep the details of their sex life private, but when it comes to their choice to wait until marriage, some stars are actually willing to open up.
Jessica Simpson – Before marrying Nick Lachey, Jessica was very open about her decision to remain a virgin. She said she was nervous about discussing the topic with Nick for the first time, but he “stayed patient” until they tied the knot in 2002.
Justin and Hailey Bieber – Justin may have been with other people before his wife Hailey, but when they reconnected in 2019, he was more than a year into a self-imposed tenure of celibacy. Together, the couple decided to continue to refrain from having sex until they were married.
Adriana Lima– Victoria’s Secret model Adriana’s Catholic faith influenced her decision to save herself for marriage. She explained potential suitors would have to respect her decision — and if they weren’t willing to wait, then they weren’t the right person for her.
Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel – When Miranda started dating Snapchat founder Evan, the couple decided to wait until marriage to have sex because of Evan’s traditional beliefs. In an interview, Miranda was asked about the possibility of having children before their wedding and she said it wouldn’t be possible: “Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional. We can’t…I mean we’re just…waiting,” she told The Times.
Kevin Jonas– All the Jonas brothers famously wore purity rings for much of their adolescence, in part due to their religious upbringing. While Nick and Joe ended up taking their rings off, Kevin saw things through until he tied the knot with his wife Danielle in 2009.
In a skit in 2022, she hilariously shared sex tips she believes could drive any man wild.
Mariah Carey – 5
Mariah Carey is world-famous for her vocal prowess and is often called one of the greatest singers of all time.
In fact, she is known for her five-vocal octave range and the number five seems to be quite prominent in other areas of her life.
In 2019, the 55-year-old icon revealed that she had only slept with five people throughout her life.
“I haven’t had that many but there has been a variety pack. I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field”, she said.
The superstar was previously married to music executive Tommy Motola before tying the knot with Nick Cannon in 2008.
She was then engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, who she claims she never had sex with, before embarking on a long-term relationship with dancer Brian Tanaka.
Mimi was also linked to baseball player Derek Jeter and model Christian Monzon.
