RTE star Doireann Garrihy has shared a rare snap with her mum and sisters as she revealed she has begun “proper” wedding planning.
The Dancing With The Stars host and her partner Mark Mehigan got engaged last November.

Doireann had her final day on air this morning, as she plans to use the summer to “prioritise” her wedding.
The 32-year-old had been drip feeding fans info about her wedding as the date nears.
Yesterday she took to Instagram to share a sweet snap with her mum, Calre and older sisters, Ailbhe and Aoibhin, as they began to “properly” plan her wedding.
In the stunning picture the girls all raised their glasses and smiled wide as they celebrated their sister with some bubbly.
The group finished their night in a Chinese restaurant, Wongs, in Castleknock Village.
The popular presenter wore a khaki green button up, while her sister Aoibhin donned a chequered pink heart blouse.
Ailbhe, her older sister, rocked a stunning zebra print summer dress while Clare, Doireann’s mum, wore a green and white cardigan.
Doireann captioned her post: “Time to properly plan.”
Friends and fans flooded the podcaster’s comments with well wishes.
Denise gushed: “So excited for you and what’s ahead of you this year. You are a true genuine soul.”
Becky wrote: “Exciting! You will be the most beautiful bride.”
Gemma said: “Have the best time ladies.”
Louise joked: “Just a word to the bridesmaids – you guys will have the craic outside while she’s trying on 50 dresses and sweating through her eyeballs. Enjoy!”
The 32-year-old left 2FM Breakfast Show after five years working on the radio programme this morning.
END OF ERA
Emotions ran high as her beloved co-hosts Carl Mullan and Donncha O’Callaghan gave her a lovely send off.
Donncha started off his glowing speech by saying: “I’d like to speak on behalf of your whole 2FM family here that have been along with you for the journey.
“I’ve had brilliant teammates but you’re right up there, an unbelievable talent, a work rate like no one else has, your ability to keep going is incredible. Serious craic to be fair to you.
“The greatest compliment I can give you personally, as a dad-of-three girls, I’d love if they ended up like you. Your family should be so, so proud of you. You never say goodbye to the good ones so we’ll see you along the way.”
Carl described Doireann as being “funny, quick, professional and warm” and said she’s “all round sickeningly talented”.

After four major 2FM presenters have quit the station, Dan Healy has assured listeners there is “no shortage of presenters” to pull out of the bag.
Dedicated to entertaining young listeners, the flagship programme has swapped out four hosts.
Doireann Garrihy, who left her fans teary eyed this morning with her emotional sign-off, has been replaced by Aifric O’Connell.
2FM legend Gerry Ryan’s daughter, Lottie Ryan, has big shoes to fill as she’ll be co-hosting alongside David O’Reilly after The 2 Johnnies’ exit.
Telly babe Laura Fox has already jumped into her new shoes, replacing mega-star Jennifer Zamparelli.
The 34-year-old started to choke up as he told her: “Like Donncha said, it’s becoming a dad that has made me start to realise the qualities in people that I want to try and highlight in my kids. Let me tell you, D has them in abundance.”
Doireann was completely blown away by her pals’ touching tributes and she replied: “I want to thank the both of you from the bottom of my heart for every single day. It’s been the time of my life, I’ve enjoyed every single second of it.
“And thank you to everyone outside the glass as well, I love you all and thank you for being so welcoming all the way back in 2019 when I came in the door and I didn’t know anyone.
“It’s an amazing place to work, the listeners you’ve been through thick and thin, phenomenal every single morning, beyond reliable.”
Doireann was in floods of tears as she finished off her statement saying: “But mainly you guys, and everyone who’s worked on the show, it’s been the time of my life.
“With you guys I’ve found brothers for life and I am so grateful.”
