IT has been 15 years since actress Lizzie Stables got her big break on E4’s The Inbetweeners, then the biggest comedy show on the box.
The 37 year old starred as Chloe on the BAFTA winning comedy and now more than a decade on, she looks unrecognisable from the girl who broke Jay’s heart in the show.

Now married with a children, Lizzie’s husband was once an armpit model as she divulged on her social media, X account, beneath a photo of her husband.
She wrote: “You might have a full time job with benefits and a pension, but has your husband ever been an armpit model for a male grooming device.
Having trained at the Central School of Speech and drama, Lizzie had various roles in TV including Channel 4’s Hollyoaks and Holby City.
But she is most recognisable for her role as Chloe, who first appeared in the finale episode of the second series after meeting Jay, played by actor James Buckley, at a bus stop.
Unlike his other love interests, Jay seems to genuinely care about Chloe, but she breaks up with him after he takes his father’s advice, constantly texting and checking up on her, which she decides is too sensitive and clingy.
Jay then puts on a false show of bravado, telling his friends that he ended the relationship. But he is later seen on the verge of tears, suggesting that he struggled to get over the relationship ending.
Aside from the popular E4 comedy Lizzie also had roles in Channel 4’s Miranda and the BBC’s Doctors, as well as extensive theatre and voiceover work.
In 2015 she founded The Folio Theatre, female led theatre company based in Wiltshire that focuses on new writing.
