MAJOR MILESTONE
Yesterday, the three mainstay hosts joined Martin King and Elaine Crowley for a special anniversary edition of the morning chat show.
The episode was filled with nostalgic memories, laughs and lots of cake.
After the show, Muireann took to Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute to the iconic Irish programme as it reached a major milestone.
The 41-year-old recalled watching the show for the first time when it aired back on September 20, 1999.
She wrote: “I remember watching the first episode thinking how brilliant it was that Ireland finally had a telly breakfast show…. And wondering how long it would last.”
The popular presenter admitted that she “never thought” she would eventually be “a part of the team” years later.
The Limerick native added: “I’m a tiny cog in a brilliant team, one that not only kept the show on air for 25 years when people thought it might last about 2.
“They have turned it into a institution that talks about everything, the light and shade, the good and bad.”
The Irish host emphasised that it was “such an honour” to present the show and gushed “I love my job”.
